- Ram’s Horn ( Koç Boynuzu ) : This motif, typically found in the central medallion of carpets, symbolizes strength and power.
- Waterway ( Su Yolu ) : This motif is included in Anatolian carpets to symbolize the continuity of life, wisdom, and physical and spiritual purification.
- Love and Unity ( Aşk ve Birleşim ) : This motif, common in Anatolian kilims, symbolizes harmony between partners and promotes family love and peace. It features interlocking patterns or figures, representing both aesthetic beauty and emotional significance in the home.

- This is a rare kilim, featuring the "Kancalı" motif. This design hasn't been widely produced and is only found in two regions of Turkey. Most of its counterparts were woven in Dursunbey, a district of Balıkesir. However, this particular kilim was woven in Kütahya. What sets it apart from other similar pieces is the border, which is woven in black or dark blue rather than the typical blue seen in its counterparts. İbrahim Atar Rug Expert of MadameOttoman
- Kütahya, located in Turkey's Aegean region, is renowned for its traditional crafts. The city gained fame for "Ceramics" and "Needlework" starting from the late 14th century and has a history dating back to 38 AD. From the late 19th century onwards, Kütahya also became known for its carpet weaving. The city's prominent features are its traditional arts of "Ceramics" and "Carpet Weaving."
